Whatever the Verdict, the Derek Chauvin Trial Won’t Change Things

As I write this, a jury is deliberating the fate of former cop Derek Chauvin, who murdered George Floyd in front of the whole world. There will be no happy ending in this case.

I’d guess that most people believe Chauvin will be found guilty, but would it really be that shocking to see the jury deadlock because one or more of them thought he was a cop…
