Mitchell Plitnick is the President of ReThinking Foreign Policy. Formerly, he was the Vice President of the Foundation for Middle East Peace, the Director of the US Office of B'Tselem: The Information Center for Human Rights In the Occupied territories, and the Co-Director of Jewish Voice for Peace.

In 2021, Mitchell and Marc Lamont Hill published Except for Palestine: The Limits of Progressive Politics. Mitchell's writing has appeared in The Nation, The New Republic, Ha'aretz, Middle East Eye, The Battleground.eu, +972 Magazine, Middle East Report, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
